The Key Laboratory of Advanced Optoelectronic Quantum Architecture and Measurement of Ministry of Education was established in 2018. The first meeting of the first academic committee was held in November 2019. The director of the academic committee is Professor Tao XIANG, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the director is Professor Yugui YAO of School of Physics, Beijing Institute of Technology.
The laboratory comprehensively utilizes the intersection and integration of quantum mechanics, condensed-matter physics, material science, electronics and information science, optical engineering, compressed sensing theory and topology and other disciplines with the cutting-edge science and technology, focuses on the photoelectric conversion and its physical mechanism in advanced quantum structure materials, breaks through the bottleneck of existing extremely weak signal measurement and imaging technology, aims to: 1) solve a series of major and cutting-edge scientific problems related to advanced optoelectronic quantum structure design; 2) develop relevant optoelectronic devices, to obtain a number of original innovative achievements; 3) lead the development of optoelectronic quantum structure design and measurement technology; 4) provide technical support and reserves for materials, information and energy industries; 5) to become an important base for national scientific and technological innovation and talent training.
